Ripper
The OMEF ripper adds extensions to the Big Inch tree shear that help the carrier machine move in inaccessible areas, and make it possible to loosen soil and remove small stumps as part of the clearing job.
About the Ripper
On walking excavators such as the Menzi Muck shown in the video below, the ripper extensions give the machine purchase on steep and rough ground, helping it move through areas a standard carrier cannot reach.
The ripper is one of the options that build out the Big Inch range, which runs from the BI100 to the BI600 with cut sizes from 100 mm to 700 mm across nine models. It is made for the BI300 and BI400 shears.
