Tree Shears
OMEF Big Inch tree shears fell, hold and bunch trees in a single pass, so clearing work runs faster with the operator in the cab. Nine models cover excavators from 1.5 to 50 tonnes, with cut sizes from 100 mm to 700 mm.
About the Tree Shears
The Big Inch range is built around a single shear head with a welded or bolted blade. Smaller models suit orchard, shelterbelt and acreage work, while the BI500 and BI600 handle full forestry and land clearing on 23 to 50 tonne machines.
Options build the shear out for the job. A collector arm holds small stems while the shear keeps cutting, a rotation ring turns the head 360 degrees, and a tilt actuator tips it 45 degrees for angled cuts and bunching. Ripper extensions loosen soil and pull small stumps, and a second grab arm holds the tree after the cut, for safer felling in tight or urban areas.
Every new OMEF attachment is backed by a 1 year warranty.
