AMI Reactor snow blades are built to clear large lots and yards with wheel loaders, loader backhoes and skid steers. The Angle Blade with FluidEdge is a high volume plow, and AMI rates it at over double the plowing width of a truck blade. The 4-in-1 blade adds hydraulically controlled endplates.
About the Snow Blades
AMI Reactor snow blades are built to clear large lots and yards with wheel loaders, loader backhoes and skid steers. The Angle Blade with FluidEdge is a high volume plow, and AMI rates it at over double the plowing width of a truck blade. The 4-in-1 blade adds hydraulically controlled endplates on rotary actuators, so one blade works in four positions: box blade, reverse box blade, angle blade and straight blade, with a 180 degree pivot range.
The FluidEdge option is a segmented cutting edge made of individual 12 inch Hardox 500 segments on rubber suspension blocks. Each segment follows uneven ground, with 5 degrees of tilt and 1.5 inches of vertical travel. A worn segment is replaced on its own with two bolts and two nuts, so the full edge does not need to be changed.
For tighter work, the 6-Way blade suits skid steers and sidewalk clearing. Both sides adjust to form an angle blade, a scoop or a V-blade. Its spring-trip cutting edge springs back when it strikes an obstacle, and the cutting edges are replaceable and reversible.
