AMI's demolition grapples are built to grab, crush and load garbage and construction debris. The Demolition Grapple uses bypassing tines with low-wear, high-tensile gripping pads to crush and load material. The Extractor line adds a rotating demolition and sorting grapple that can take down.
About the Demolition Grapples
AMI's demolition grapples are built to grab, crush and load garbage and construction debris. The Demolition Grapple uses bypassing tines with low-wear, high-tensile gripping pads to crush and load material. The Extractor line adds a rotating demolition and sorting grapple that can take down buildings, move large volumes of material, and pick through fine recyclables.
The Extractor comes in a standard version and a severe duty version for the toughest demolition work. Both rotate 360 degrees with flexible jaw operation, edge-to-edge contact for picking thin or valuable items, reversible cutting edges, and a zero-clearance jaw design for retrieving objects tight against walls and bins.
Tine configurations range from 2-over-3 up to 4-over-5, and the range spans compact excavators from 10,000 lbs up to 160,000-lb machines. High-wear serrated edges and mounting edges are built from Hardox wear plate, with Strenx steel in the body.

Extractor sorting grapple: GR1012SGJ through GR1416SGJ (compact, with electric diverter valve and foot switch). Extractor rotating demolition and sorting grapple: GR2433SGJF through GR80100SGJF. Extractor severe duty: GR2433SGJSDF through GR80100SGJSDF. Select models are listed under AMI's Fast Track Program for faster manufacture and shipping at no extra charge.
